Epstein’s Notorious $22 Million Palm Beach Mansion To Be Demolished

Published

on

Jeffrey Epstein’s notorious $22 million Palm Beach mansion In Palm Beach, Florida, is set to be demolished, according to a developer who recently purchased the property. Florida-based property developer Todd Michael Glaser said that the existing building will be demolished to make room for a larger and more expensive building on the property. He said that the local residents of Palm Beach will be happy to see the building go.

Luxury real estate agent Mary Jane “MJ” McElwaney, of the Nicklaus Vance Realty Group in North Palm Beach, told realitor.com that there was a stigma attached to the house.

“It’ll be a betterment to the community to get rid of the house and the bad energy attached to it,” McElwaney said.

Glaser said he intends to build an Art Moderne residence which he expects to be completed in the spring of 2022. the property was initially on the market for $22 million, but Glaser did not say how much he actually paid in the final sale. He did reveal that he hopes to eventually put the new house on the market for $40 million. This price would not be unusual for the area, a home in the area that was once owned by John Lennon and Yoko Ono recently sold for $36 million, after being listed for nearly $50 million.

Glaser said that there is a high demand in this area because so much of the real estate is already spoken for, which drives up the cost of the remaining houses. Epstein’s home was likely purchased for a comparatively small rate because of the reputation of its former owner.

“There are $50 million buyers and no houses for them to buy. I’ve never seen a pent up demand like this. There is no inventory,” Glaser said.

The property sits along the Intracoastal Waterway, which is a very high demand area.

Glaser works exclusively in Palm Beach, Miami Beach, and Nantucket, so he won’t be going after any of Epstein’s other US properties. Epstein’s townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is still on the market for $88 million, according to a listing with the Modlin Group. Epstein had numerous properties all over the world that are being liquidated with his estate. Much of his estate will be going towards a victim compensation fund.

New details about Epstein’s crimes and his associates are expected to be revealed during the upcoming criminal trial against Ghislaine Maxwell. Epstein and Maxwell were connected with major players on both sides of the political spectrum, including the Clintons and the Trumps, who have a lot to lose if Maxwell discusses their involvement with Epstein’s trafficking ring. With how many people that Epstein was connected to there is no telling what can be revealed in the upcoming trial.

Epstein was arrested again on July 6, 2019, on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors in Florida and New York. He died in his jail cell on August 10, 2019. The medical examiner ruled the death a suicide. Epstein’s lawyers have disputed the ruling, and there has been significant public skepticism about the true cause of his death.

Man Shot And Killed At Biden Victory Rally Went “To Be A Part Of History”

Published

on

A 31-year-old man was shot and killed at a victory rally In Seattle, Washington, for the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and police are still looking for clues and asking for help in identifying a suspect. The incident happened in the early morning hours of Sunday at a post-election celebration in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The victim, MarQuies Demone Patterson, reportedly attended the event because he wanted to “be a part of history.

Patterson was found by police at 10th Avenue East and East Pike Street, and was quickly taken to Harborview Medical Center. Sadly, medical crews were unable to revive him and he later died from his injuries.

Police spokesman Detective Mark Jamieson told the Seattle Times that there was no indication the shooting was politically motivated.

Que Vasser, Patterson’s mother, said that she was with her son for most of the night and the celebration did not appear to be dangerous or violent.

“He just wanted to go out and show his respect for the new president and the vice president. We were told he was happy and he bumped into his old high school friends,” Patterson said.

“He just wanted to be part of something. He wanted to be part of history,” she said.

However, she did say that she warned him to be careful that evening in case there were any clashes between people who disagreed on the outcome of the election.

One of the friends who were nearby at the time of the shooting told Vasser that Patterson had said goodbye to his friends and then began to walk down the street. Just a few seconds later they heard gunshots and turned around to see Patterson falling down.

“He was a hardworking, caring, loving, respectable young man. He was just trying to make a life for his children,” Vasser said.

Patterson was the father of two children, ages 9 and 10.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Seattle Police Department’s tip line at 206-233-5000.

The Capitol Hill neighborhood, where the incident occurred, is the location that was taken over by Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists earlier this year and turned into an “Autonomous Zone.”

The city allowed the protesters to stay for about three weeks before raiding the area and removing the protesters. Officials say that a series of shootings that took place in the zone prompted them to crack down on the protesters. For decades the neighborhood has been a gathering place for activists and members of the LGBT community.

Last month, the Washington Post reported that the FBI and Department of Justice are preparing for violence across the country due to the election.

Also last month, Wal Mart made a strange announcement that they were going to take guns off the shelves in preparation for civil unrest, but then reversed the decision a day later and made another big announcement that they would, in fact, still have guns on display. Gun sales have been booming this election season, but it appeared that Wal Mart was taking advantage of the intense climate for some free advertisement.

Head of UK Armed Forces Warns That World War 3 Could Be Triggered Soon

Published

on

According to the head of UK armed forces, General Sir Nick Carter, the world is at risk of a new world war if current conflicts grow out of control. He also said that the current COVID pandemic and subsequent economic downturn could also exacerbate geopolitical conditions.

Carter’s comments came on Remembrance Sunday, the holiday that honors the lives lost during the first two world wars. Carter said that remembering the sacrifices of these wars is still important today because we are at risk of repeating the same mistakes.

In an interview with Sky News , the chief of the defense staff gave insights into the future of British Armed Forces, saying that robots could represent up to a quarter of the British army in the 2030s.

Carter said the world is in “a very uncertain and anxious place.”

“I think the real risk we have, with quite a lot of regional conflicts that are going on at the moment, is you could see escalation lead to miscalculation and that is a thing I think we have to guard against,” he said.

“The protagonists, either because they don’t realise the implications of their actions, lead to an escalation, which means that more people perhaps get involved, more weaponry gets involved and before you can contain it, it leads the sides ending up in a full-blown war. We have to remember history might not repeat itself but it has a rhythm and if you look back at the last century, before both world wars, I think it was unarguable that there was escalation that led to the miscalculation which ultimately led to war at a scale we would hopefully never see again,” Carter explained.

When asked if the threat of another world war was real, General Carter said that “I am saying it’s a risk and I think we need to be conscious of those risks.”

Carter warned that world leaders would need to be “very cautious about how you manage the sorts of regional conflicts that we see playing out in the world today.”

He did not name any particular conflicts specifically, but there are already many proxy wars taking place around the globe, in which large countries with nuclear capabilities such as the United States and Russia are each funding opposing sides of conflicts in impoverished countries with the hopes of benefiting from the outcomes. Any of these numerous conflicts could easily grow out of control and spark a larger war between nuclear militaries.

General Carter showed some optimism, saying that negotiations are currently happening in a very “constructive way”

Carter has been a controversial figure throughout his career for all the right reasons. Other generals in the United States have criticized him for being too “risk-averse” on the battlefield and being too concerned about civilian casualties. His comments on Remembrance Sunday about how war should be avoided at all costs reflect this attitude, which has been praised by some, and criticized by others.

AOC Says She Might Quit Politics Over Hostility From Centrist Democrats

Published

on

In a new interview, the popular progressive Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has told the New York Times that hostility from establishment centrist Democrats could push her to leave politics, despite a large national support base and her recent reelection.

As always, the New York Times article is hidden behind a paywall. In the new interview, she spoke about the frustrations of attempting to champion causes in a political system that is very set in its ways, and very hostile to change.

“I don’t even know if I want to be in politics. You know, for real, in the first six months of my term, I didn’t even know if I was going to run for re-election this year,” Ocasio-Cortez told the Times.

The congresswoman says that despite feigning support from establishment Democrats on issues like healthcare, police reform, and social justice, they have been extremely hostile towards these causes on a policy level when push comes to shove.

“Externally, there’s been a ton of support, but internally, it’s been extremely hostile to anything that even smells progressive,” Ocasio-Cortez explained.

The Bronx native waited until after the election was called for Biden to share her candid thoughts with the Times. Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow progressively-minded Democrats called a temporary truce with the establishment centrists in their party to unite behind Biden, but now that he has secured the presidency, her and other progressives say that it is time to put the pressure on, to ensure that the administration actually follows through on its promises.

“It’s really hard for us to turn out nonvoters when they feel like nothing changes for them. When they feel like people don’t see them, or even acknowledge their turnout,” she said.

Ocasio-Cortez believes that career Democrats have treated her and the causes she believes in as an “enemy.”

“I need my colleagues to understand that we are not the enemy. And that their base is not the enemy. That the Movement for Black Lives is not the enemy, that Medicare for all is not the enemy. This isn’t even just about winning an argument. It’s that if they keep going after the wrong thing, I mean, they’re just setting up their own obsolescence,” she said.

“I’ve been begging the party to let me help them for two years. That’s also the damn thing of it. I’ve been trying to help. Before the election, I offered to help every single swing district Democrat with their operation. And every single one of them, but five, refused my help,” she added.

All four members of the progressive group in congress known as “The Squad” won reelection last week. The squad consists of Representatives Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley, all of whom rally behind progressive causes.

These four women were some of President Trump’s harshest critics, but it appears that they won’t be giving Biden a pass just because he is a Democrat. They have each vowed to use their influence in Congress to push the incoming administration to adopt more progressive policies.
