Brittney Spears Compared Her Conservatorship To Sex Trafficking In Court Testimony

Published

on

For years, the pop star Brittney Spears has been held prisoner and forced to work a grueling schedule as her father and a group of lawyers have totally controlled her life and finances. Despite being a fully functional adult, Spears had most of her legal rights taken away at the height of her fame. When Brittney Spears was in her prime, she was followed everywhere by the media, and this eventually took a major toll on her mental health, a situation that many celebrities face.

She found the situation to become increasingly harmful when she became a mother and was constantly hounded by the press out in public. On several occasions, she lashed out at photographers and members of the press for following her around, but this is not unusual for celebrities.

It is a fairly regular occurrence in Hollywood for cameras to be broken, or for body guards to assault photographers. When her outbursts were making front page news, her father filed for a conservatorship, which gave him full control over her personal and financial life.

Spears has now spent the past 13 years, making music, touring, and doing advertisements, but she has not been able to manage her own money or choose her own schedule. At a hearing in court this week, Spears compared her condition to trafficking.

“I worked seven days a week, no days off, which in California, the only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking. Making anyone work against their will, taking all their possessions away — credit card, cash, phone, passport — and placing them in a home where they work with the people who live with them,” she said.

“If I didn’t do any of my meetings and work from eight to six at night, which is 10 hours a day, seven days a week, no days off, I wouldn’t be able to see my kids or my boyfriend. I never had a say in my schedule. They always told me I had to do this,” she added.

Brittney Spears has been a source of wealth for her parents since she was a young girl. They took her to audition for Disney and have been benefiting from her success ever since.

In court, Spears also revealed that the conditions of her conservatorship prevent her from getting married or having children. These terms are taken so seriously that she has been forced to take birth control.

“I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years and it’s enough. It’s enough and it makes no sense at all … I’m done. I want to sue my family, to be totally honest with you,” she said.

“I’m not here to be anyone’s slave,” she added.

Spears has fought for years to end the conservatorship, despite telling friends and fans that she was OK. It was not until she walked off stage at the start of her Vegas residency that people began to suspect that something could be wrong. Shortly after, she began to make filings in court to have herself released, but her family continued to fight for control over her estate.

The ruling has not yet come in, but public opinion is strongly in favor of having Spears released from the conservatorship.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Says There’s “No Difference” Between Him and Tupac

Published

on

Tekashi 6ix9ine has claimed there’s “no difference” between him and the late Tupac Shakur.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, the controversial rapper discussed everything from his sentencing, whether he regrets being part of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, to pleading guilty to use of a child in a sexual performance. The latter when he compared himself to Tupac.

The interview came just days before the rapper released his first album “TattleTales,” since being released from prison.

In February of this year, Tekashi was facing years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of – firearms and racketeering; now, more than six months later, he has more than one billion views accumulated on YouTube in just four months.

Tekashi’s real name is Daniel Hernandez. Hernandez said he plans to “just keep dominating” and stay out of trouble.

Tupac came up when Hernandez was discussing his plea of guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance. He was seen in videos imitating graphic acts and touching a 13-year-old while she performed sex acts on other men around him.

Hernandez who was 18 years old at the time of the situation, expressed that he’s not a “40-year-old Jeffrey Epstein-type.” Adding that he’s now “a true inspiration to the kids.”

Tekashi was then asked, “Do you understand the view that you don’t need to be a public figure, that you don’t deserve to be famous, based on your real-world actions with real human victims?”

In which Hernandez replied:

No, I don’t. Tupac Shakur was convicted of rape. Is Tupac Shakur loved or hated? Loved! What’s the difference between me and Tupac Shakur?

For our younger readers, Tupac Shakur was convicted of first-degree sexual assault in 1994 and was sentenced to 18 months to four-and-a-half years in prison for the offense.

NYT interviewer Joe Coscarelli argued with 6ix9ine that Tupac “tried to give back with his work”. While Hernandez claimed his music was helping the world too. However, Coscarelli closed that discussion calling Hernandez’s songs “turn-up music, but it’s not introspective.”

Hernandez then played Tupac’s Troublesome ’96 to Coscarelli and told him.

“What’s the difference between that and Billy? “A born leader, never leave the crib without my heater!” You’re telling me he gave back through his art? You’re lying to me.”

Coscarelli responded to Hernandez and said he has only “one type of record” while Tupac was “multifaceted” with different types of songs. Tekashi answered, “I got to feed what, in 2020, is relevant. I got to feed the masses. There’s no difference between me and Tupac Shakur.”

Hernandez ended the interview with, “Keep hating me, because you’re going to keep tuning in.”

It’s very interesting to see Takashi compare himself to Tupac Shakur and make a mention of Jeffrey Epstein in the interview. Although, Hernandez seems to be one of the most hated in rap for his snitching and flaunting it. He has turned his life around somewhat and has managed to release a new album featuring big stars, including Nicki Minaj, Smilez, and Akon.

Maybe, Hernandez can learn from Akon (Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam) who is using his influence to help and give back to the world, mainly Africa by building the world’s first crypto city, as Anewspost previously reported.

Kanye West Tweets About Divorce And Claims Movie “Get Out” Was About Him

Published

on

After entering the race for the presidency extremely late, rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West appears to be in the midst of a mental breakdown, and is going through some difficult times with his family as a result.

During his first campaign rally in South Carolina, West became very emotional and started discussing some very private things about his personal life, including the fact that he considered having one of his children aborted. His family reportedly wanted to have him committed to a mental hospital because they were so concerned about his mental health as they were watching the rally. West says that this is not the first time something like this has happened, and later posted to Twitter that the movie “Get Out” is about him.

After getting home from the event, West posted a rant about his family on Twitter, but later deleted it. In the posts, he revealed that he and Kim had been considering getting a divorce for a while now. He also called his mother in law “Kris Jong-Un.”

Sources later confirmed to the media that Kim Kardashian, has begun contacting lawyers about a divorce. However, Kardashian later made a post on her Instagram page asking for privacy and compassion, and discussing her husband’s mental health issues.

In the post, Kardashian wrote:

“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health. Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”

In the days that followed, a long list of celebrities made appearances at West’s ranch in Wyoming to offer support and see how he was doing.

In an interview in 2018, Kanye admitted that he became addicted to opioids when they were prescribed to him after he got liposuction. The addiction may have contributed to his nervous breakdown in 2016. He has also said that he has been suicidal at times. In a 2019 interview with David Letterman, he said that he has bipolar disorder.

Kanye is also promoting a new album, and some people have suggested that his recent antics have been some sort of a publicity stunt, but anyone with a friend or family member who suffers from bipolar disorder can recognize the telltale signs of a mental breakdown, and West is clearly in the midst of one. Luckily, it appears that he may have recognized the error in his ways, because he later posted an apology.

As for West’s presidential run, it seems that there is no chance of him qualifying in any of the 50 US states, but it is still possible for him to make outrageous statements on his Twitter account.
