Many of Jeffrey Epstein's victims have filed lawsuits against his estate, and these lawsuits contain many new allegations that have not yet been reported to the public. Many of these court documents are still sealed, but some interesting details have leaked to the public, including one victim's claim that Epstein "showed her off" to current president Donald Trump when she was just 14-years-old. She does not accuse the president of any sexual misconduct, but her claims strongly suggest that Trump was aware of the kind of abusive that Epstein was involved in.
The victim, who is still anonymous, and only identified as "Jane Doe" in court papers, says that she was groomed and sexually abused by Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell since she was 13-years-old. The victim claims that she met Maxwell and Epstein in 1994 at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. The next year, when she was 14, the victim says that Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago, according to the Daily Beast.
“This is a good one, right?” Epstein allegedly asked the future president, who she says smiled and nodded before laughing.
Earlier this month, Insider reported that unsealed court documents revealed previously unseen flight logs for Jeffrey Epstein's private jet, which listed Donald Trump taking a flight from Palm Beach, Florida, to Newark, New Jersey in January of 1997. This flight was corroborated by Epstein's brother, Mark, who said in 2009 that he witnessed Trump fly on Epstein's jets at least once. This would make Trump the second US president, after Bill Clinton, to appear in the flight logs for Epstein's airplane.
Trump and Epstein were once good friends, and often partied together. Trump even made a reference to Epstein’s interest in younger girls during a 2005 interview with New York Magazine.
Trump said that Epstein was a “terrific guy” whom he had known for 15 years.
He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side, Trump said.
There is also the case of Virginia Roberts, who was working at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, when she was approached by Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell about working as a massage therapist for the billionaire. Maxwell then recruited Roberts into Epstein’s trafficking ring, where she was forced to become a sex slave for Epstein and his wealthy friends, including Prince Andrew.
According to Snopes, Trump also appeared in Epstein’s notorious “little black book,” but the site pointed out that this is not necessarily proof of guilt, because Epstein had many associated that likely had no clue about his lifestyle.
Epstein and Trump were not on good terms by the time that Epstein was first arrested because the pair had a fight over a real-estate deal. Oddly enough, just about two weeks after they got into their disagreement, police received a tip about underage girls at Epstein's house.
There are many other connections between Epstein and Trump, including their choice of lawyers.
The team of lawyers that represented Donald Trump for his impeachment trial earlier this year featured a few controversial figures including Alan Dershowitz and Ken Starr, two of the attorneys who represented Epstein in his previous court cases.
